In short: Tough but well worth doing
In full: First 3 miles all up hill but from mile 4 it's basically all down hill. Weather this year was terrible, more akin to October, but on a fairer day it would have been very enjoyable despite being very challenging. Good facilities at the start and finish.

In short: New course is tougher than last year but still a very enjoyable race.
In full: The new course was certainly a tougher challenge than the previous one. I'd doubt very much you'd get a good pb here. The K markers were a little erratic but other than that the organisation and marshalling was top class. Definately a trail race rather than a road race now but if anything this sets it out from a lot of other 10ks. Whatever the course I'll be back next year.

In short: Great race, very good course, excellent support
In full: From leaving the stadium to returning to it the race was great. Good number of drink stations (although both sides of the road would be better), interesting course (love running through the best bits of the city centre) and brilliant support. However the start was late and a bit of a free for all and after you'd finished the assistance from the stewards was poor. Safety barriers seemed to be more of a hazard than a help and I didn't appreciate having to walk up 20 steps and back down to get to the changing area just because some jobsworth didn't want me to walk on his bit of the track. Poor show from the stewards but I'll be back to this great run despite them.

In short: Shall we say...challenging!
In full: Seriously, this run isn't for the faint hearted, but for some strange reason I love it. The first 6k is predominantly up hill, the last 4k down, but it's certainly not impossible and the views take your mind off the pain. The revised route is a good improvement.

In short: Very good run. Scenic and always great running over bridges. Be prepared for mile 9!!!
In full: Thoroughly enjoyable. Two minor complaints. The start is a bit of a mele, and the sign posting to the car park for early arrivers was confusing to say the least. Iron these niggles out and this would be a comfortable 5 star run...just don't believe the myth that Lincolnshire is flat.
