In short: A nice scenic race, a good one as long as the weather holds
In full: I enjoyed this as my first run longer than a 1/2 marathon. Absolutely fine until mile 14 - when a big hill appeared from nowhere! Despite that, and a really slow time I really enjoyed it and should be back again next year. Scenic and well worth doing.

In short: My top event to date - outstanding!
In full: Loved every minute of this, my 1st 1/2, and what a great introduction to the longer distances. Not at all crowded, friendly runners, marshalls and locals - absolutely everyone had a smile. Cheap entry with the option to buy a t-shirt/food/drink at the end if you want to, rather than being forced to pay and getting stuff you didn't want, and you still get a lovely medal for the price. I hope they're all like this!

In short: Briliant first race - smooth organisation, almost faultless. Could have done with some more music around the course - but no real complaints at all. If I'm still dooing 10k's next year I'll be doing this one without a doubt.
