In short: Not for the faint hearted
In full: The course is rough and challenging in places but the organization is way worthwhile. If I get fitter in the next 12 months I'll do it again.

In short: Another Marwell done, but this is my last one
In full: Great race, great day out, but every year when I am on the 4th km mark I do ask myself why in the world I put myself through it... So I think this will be my last one for a while at least.

In short: Where was the finish line?
In full: Good weather, good temperature and relatively easy course, but where was the finish line?!? They need a proper Finish banner, it is definitely motivating.

In short: Fantastic athmosphere in Portsmouth

In short: Just for the fit ones
In full: If you are a super competitive extremely fit runner, you'll fit fine in this race, otherwise you'll probably want to find something a bit less tense. Organization was fine, but the scenery really not that great. Fortunately the weather held and it wasn't too breezy. Probably won't do it again.

In short: Never again but... again and again
In full: This is the third time I do this race and to be honest every time I say "never those hills again" but in the end I always come back. A must-do at least once for any runner. This year it was very hot and I took it particularly easy, but in the end the FINISH line was the happiest moment of this year!

In short: Third time out
In full: This is the third time I do this one, but I don't think I'll do it again: the race said "memento" given to finishing runners, but after we finished they ran out of towels (that was the memento) so kind of disappointed really. Other than that this is a good run to boost your confidence with a personal best as the race is quite flat and therefore technically easy. Excellent marshalling though.

In short: Windy but exceptionally uplifting
In full: This was my first official 10 mile race and I loved it all. Even if my time needs certainly some improvements, I enjoyed the whole thing. I didn't know that we were going by the HMS Victory, a real surprise! And with Spinnaker tower and the wonderful Southsea beach, well... it was more of a sightseeing day. And the music along the way... and the people so warmly cheering us up! Really, just fantastic, it kept me going and will definitely do it again. But next year I'll catch a train: the real challenge of this race is not the running bit, it is getting out of the car park!!!

In short: 10,000 women and growing
In full: Wonderful event, great cause, fantastic venue. Will do it again and again and this year came with my personal best, which is the cherry on the cake. Thank you Cancer Research, thank you Southampton, thank you 10,000 running and walking women.

In short: Hot Hot Hot!
In full: A very good race, quite quick, some uphills and downhills, clockwork marchalling, overall A+. Well done!
