In short: Loved every minute of it, what a great atmosphere
In full: 1st marathon trained a lot, initial aim was 4hr then lowered to 3.45 a few weeks ago. then thought i could do 3.30. after a few miles realised i would not enjoy the race if i did the constant weaving to gain a few seconds and decided just to try and run it well and enjoy it, and i did. Did 3.40 really happy with that and just tired at the end rather than hitting a wall. Great organisation considering the number of runners. train going to blackheath is my only small complaint but everything else fab especially marshalls and crowd. even saw my family 4 times

In short: Very good course, challenging but not horrendous. Good organisation and fab hoody
In full: In General a good event liked the course and ran it well and excellent prep for London. Ran Ashby two weeks prior and 20 secs quicker this time and would say the course is a little hillier although felt like i was doing a runner from a taxi for the last half mile. I would say i thought Ashby was a bit better organised probably due to sponsorship and the extras susch as gels and bottles of water and the space at the start and finish etc. Would also like chips that record you at the start. However good event and would recomend and the Oakley hood is better as well. Thankyou Bedfors
