In short: not the easiest of runs
In full: this was quite a testing run, there was not much room to overtake on the first section of track and mates running together were a bit of a problem as they took up both narrow tracks, apart from that a nice and scenic course well marshalled and well organised,

In short: absolutely brilliant
In full: well done to caister running club for this run, well organised, very well supported all around the course, great goodybag and tech tshirt for a bargain price and prize money for those of us lucky enough to win,i will definately be back next year, even the hills were achievable, tough but great support made this run well worth turning up for, well done caister

In short: great race, great support team, great crowds
In full: my first full marathon and a great introduction to this distance, the whole event ran like clockwork, the support teams were brilliant and the crowd support was execellent,i did not find the course difficult being fairly flat and there was always something to look at to keep you interested, only bad thing for me were the water pouches, which i did not like at all, either you got no water or you got a shot of water to the back of the throat which caused you to choke, also some of the helpers handed them to you by the tab which you had to then put in your mouth so i was not too keen on that, other than that the whole experience was brilliant, very inspiring to see so many runners for charity

In short: well organised, well marshalled, great run
In full: my local race, so was really pleased it all went off very well, well organised, marshalls were very good, lots of support from locals,i did not think it would work going from the school but was pleasantly surprised, much nicer coming off the sea front at queens park,so we did not have to run past all the food outlets, weather was great bit hot but as it was forecast there were plenty of water stations and toilets on course,a good day for me as i got a pb, might have a bash at the full distance next year, well done mablethorpe

In full: a very good well organised run, friendly helpful marshals, good weather made for a great day,the free drink at the end was very welcome, also cheap sarnies and cakes to buy, good facilities and the wallet for finishing was great and just the right size for stopping wasps getting into your drink, well done toonie express

In full: a very well organised run, clearly marked, good marshalls, nice and friendly, i really enjoyed the run, t shirt and goody bag very good, could have done with some toilets in the car park,if you drive a long way to enter, 15 mins walk to the toilets could be a bit much,

In full: what a shame this race was nothing like last years, no atmosphere at the start, its a good job the entries were low with only 20 toilets with long queues, loads of blokes using the woods, not very nice for the people who live in the area,i did like the route though, and the marshals and supporters were very good, i thought the t shirt and goody bag were very dissapointing and the entry price obviously put loads of people off, the organisers need to put these issues right to keep this race in the calendar

In full: a very good day out, real value for money, soup and cake at the end, also free hot showers and a very good venue, as usual with toonie express, very friendly crowd. The route was not as bad as i was expecting but quite challenging, my first trail half, really enjoyed it, found it tiring but thats because i usually run on roads, so it made a nice change,

In full: definately a better route than last year, a bit slippy and muddy in places but it did rain the whole day before,on the day the weather was a bit cool but just right for running really, very cold for spectators, i was very cross at the end when i got my free hot drink but when i tried to buy one for my poor freezing husband they would not sell a cup of tea, think that needs sorting for next year i know there was a burger van outside but we wanted to hear the presentation which was inside. also the old favourite lack of toilet facilities for the ladies, i would have liked to see some portaloos nearer the parking, after a long drive the last thing you need is to find the nearest loos are a good walk away, apart from those two issues a great race i knocked 19 mins off last years time and set a new pb, so i was well chuffed, see you next year
