In short: Fantastic race but boy it's a tough one! In full: Fantastic race, well organised, well signed, great marshalls, as many drinks as could be expected (but glad I had my camel-back), and an excellent mix of very friendly competitors. Good race for (well organised) spectators, my family had a great time and were there to offer support and encouragement at the end of all 4 legs. I loved the first half. I was 'flying' - very comfortable at very close to pace I would have expected on a road course. But the second half - hills, hills, hills, and more hills!! I'd recommend this race to anybody who fancies a challenge - the sense of achievement is amazing! Date of review: June 19, 2008
