In short: Stunning scenery and killer hills! My best race so far this year!
In full: Absolutely loved this race. It was certainly challenging - with constant hills up and down and rocky, tree-root strewn tracks - but the scenery made up for that - such a beautiful route through the Surrey countryside. I particularly liked all the horses and sheep that came over to the fence to cheer us on! The marshalls were smiley and encouraging (and efficient) and the goody bag was great - a fantastic t-shirt, other bits and pieces and, of course, the Badger Beer (what a lovely touch!). I'll definitely be back next year... if my legs have recovered by then!

In short: Nice race, good mix of abilities and great marshalls!
In full: I agree with most of the comments below - despite the potential monotony of running laps, the course provided a nice mix of scenery and, for slower runners like myself, there were always other runners around (albeit lapping me!) rather than being left to run on my own at the back of the pack! My Garmin also made the course short (12.98 miles), but as a recreational runner, that doesn't really bother me too much. The marshalling was excellent. They were all very encouraging and I loved that most of them had a list of our numbers/names so used our names to make the encouragement personal! Great food goodie bag too.

In short: Lovely race, good scenery, great marshalling & organisation. One nasty hill, otherwise largely flat and not too challenging!
