In short: Very muddy, but enjoyable. Shame there were no medals! In full: Great location, good organsiation, very worthy cause. Off road was very wet and muddy made leaving the car park challenging for some. Killer hill or 2. Gave out t shirts, but still missed not getting a medal! Date of review: November 2, 2008

In short: Running for Charity, so worth the effort! In full: I was running for a cause so that alone made the trip worth the effort. I enjoyed the race, luckily i was only 10 mins wait from the start so one of the luckier runners. however, I spent a lot of time dodging walkers that were oblivous to people trying to pass..very frustrating! Toilets were a joke, luckily I went at Waterloo Station because it was impossible any nearer to the race unless you were happy to queue for an hour OR stop your race at 5km and queue then for the toilet..bizarre! Overall, could be fab, but wasnt. Goody bag utter rubbish. I did a local 10km recently with an amazing goody bag and entry fee was only £13! (well done 2:09 events) I would only consider doing this again if they make the chances everyone else has complained about, especially dealing with the walker, maybe a walkers lane:) Well Done to everyone who raised money for Charity.

In short: Hard and Hot! In full: On reflection, now I am sitting at home and its all over, I enjoyed it more than I thought. Having said that, it was hard and very humid. Running, hot weather and me do not mix!! Nice organisation and the marshals were motivational towards the finish. Date of review: June 24, 2008

In short: Great first time half marathon for me. In full: Spectators and marshals were great. Plenty of water stops, even if the cups make you choke to death! Special thanks to the runner that kept me going through those nasty hills..yummy scrummi or words to those effect, i think your pants said! Date of review: April 27, 2008
