In short: Great race, made even greater by all the marshalls, spectators and of course all the other competitors!

In short: Outstanding marathon course...plus some..
In full: Mostly fantastic organisation and great race but expected a bit more for my £50.00 entry. No medium T shirts left and a charge of £1.00 for a cup of tea at the end put me off..oh and no water at checkpoint 4 whilst they were filling up at nearby house. Kit rules need to be enforced or relaxed. Sorry wont be returning.

In short: Who turned the wind on!
In full: Great experience from start to finish, had a tough time about 13-14 miles but soon picked up again from 18 to finish strongly (relative term).
The wind was a bit tough in sections which reduced me to a snails pace diminishing my hopes of sub 8.
Bill and his team at High Peaks 40 should all be proud great race/event.

In short: Great race once i got warm
In full: Congratulations to all that completed the course in full.......shame on you to the runners (sorry imposters) who turned in on the finish lane rather than completing the 2nd lap at the finish! Got my PB as well.

In short: Great race, great day.
In full: One improvement that could be made is a few marshalls at the start of the race with approx finish time boards so that the competitors can organise themselves better.. yes we all need to be realistic and take some responsibility about where we place ourselves at the start of races. I had a slower start than i wanted but still manager a PB. The medal issue will rage forever but i would personally like to keep race costs under control, medals etc all have costs attached. Perhaps medals can be an optional extra to the race fee and paid for in advance?
