In short: Enjoyable race
In full: Reasonably priced, well organised and not a bad 1-lap course. Plenty of parking too. Plus the sun came out so happened to be great conditions. Entry did mention a goody bag but I'm not that bothered as they are usually full of flyers. Kit kat was a nice touch.

In short: A challenging race!
In full: This was the 6th time I've completed this race and had probably the toughest conditions. Having been postponed the week before due to snow/ ice, it didn't appear that much of this had cleared. The snow that had melted had turned the rest of the course into a boggy, wet mud trail which challenged even those with aggressive trail shoes! Despite this the North Downs is very scenic and there are some great views. For a small entry fee, each participant gets to download their photos for free- I received about 60 this year (which is far more than you'd expect from a 10k)! It is an early start but once it over, it feels like you have the whole day ahead of you. Overall good value and I would gladly do this race again- with more training!

In short: Challenging and organised
In full: Not an easy race but well worth the effort. Slick organisation with medal, technical t-shirt and goody bag topping off a great event. If only the organisers could do something about the weather!

In short: Another great race.
In full: Second time I've run this race and I'll be back again. Only suggestion would be a sports drink at one of the water stations.

In short: Challenging but worth it
In full: 1st time doing this race and it didn't disappoint. The encouragement from marshals along the course, stunning scenery, post-race goodies (incl technical T, cake, medal) and slick organisation makes this a race to remember. After taking a couple of tumbles along the course, I'll be wearing trail shoes next year.

In short: On the whole a great race!
In full: Really enjoyed the new distance- great concept for those wanting to step beyond a half marathon and great prep for a full. Head wind nearly all the way around made it slightly challenging..perhaps when it's held again it could be the reverse?! Very well organised but wished all km had been marked. Understand why bags had to be handed in an hour before the race started, but there was no shelter from the cold wind and it could have been a lot worse had it rained. Great medal and generous goody bag capped off what I think is the start of a great series.

In short: A few improvements required.
In full: Came to Llanelli especially for the event. Scenery was nice but the out and back loop was mentally challenging. Had the mile between 10 and 11 been measured correctly I would have had a PB. Little bit frustrating but did enjoy the morning. Must be one of the few races that doesn't have a dedicated baggage area- would have been useful for those who didn't drive to the event. t-shirt / medal ok but a banana or energy bar would have been nice.

In short: Just wasn't meant to be....trains, rain and queues
In full: Nearly didn't make it due to train terminating at Staines...perhaps that was a sign. Rain, mud, queues for toilets and baggage spoiled the race. Once underway, the weather turned for the better and friendly and supportive marshals on course made it a pleasant race. Liked the medal and cup of tea but would have been nice to get something to eat at the end, given that it was a half marathon. Undecided if I would do this race again - there are far better races I've done.

In short: Challenging course but well worth the effort
In full: To be honest after reading the feedback on the course from previous years, I was expecting a lot worse. One nasty hill at the beginning- before you wind you way around residential areas and countryside. Despite the heavens opening at the beginning, middle and end, this race was brilliantly organised and offered a varied route, friendly marshals and a weighty goody bag. Well worth the trip from London and will be back again.

In short: Challenging but enjoyable
In full: Challenging race with a few steep hills up to 8 miles....but what goes up must come down and it eventually does. Mix bag weather conditions- wind, sun and snow for the last 2 miles. Not quite a PB but enjoyed the race for its undulating and scenic course and the friendly marshalls. Would have preferred a medal to a cotton tee and bag collection was little chaotic but the volunteers did a great job.
