In short: Pleasant trot round the city centre, well organised, well worth a punt i say!
In full: Race has a good atmosphere, whole family came and entered fun run as well.
Race was mildly challenging, few short inclines, but more than makes up for this with some hideous, almost 180 degree turns! The one where you go downhill then a 180 into a steep uphill climb could be quite demoralising for some.
However, dont let this detract from a very well organised and quick route, lacking in spectators in the city centre, wierdly. Quite good to see other runners where the routes doubled back on themselves, got a look at the leaders at one point.
The family and I all enjoyed this alot, i knocked 2mins 30 off my PB and will defo be back next year.

In short: Lovely frolic in the woods - watch them 'undulations' though!!
In full: Great to get out with nature, not a car or hoodie in sight. Arrived with 15mins to go - not a great start! Queueing for the loos, could have had more. £11 (deep breath!) However, once the running started it was great to be out there, t'was a tad congested for first k as paths were a bit narrow but that soon sorted itself out. I dont know what other people thought but undulating kind of undervalues it, it might just be sour grapes on my part as they cocked up my pacing, but i thought it was hard work in parts.
Overall though it was a lovely race, well supported, friendly staff, nice biccies at end. T-shirt was a bit average but i would highly recommend this race to others.

In short: Praise indeed from this race virgin!
In full: My first race so was vey nervous but have to say i loved it!! Flat, good mix of scenery and friendly atmosphere. I hope all races are as good as this! Even the weather was ideal. If still unsure then free beer at the end should clinch the deal!
