In short: Very hilly but beautiful
In full: My first 10K. Thought the marshalls were great and very encouraging especially towards the end. Some long challenging hills. Beautiful scenery. Loved it!!

In short: Seems to be for runners who enter races for speed
In full: Start of race was very fast, it is for competitive runners and the majority belonged to a running club. Not friendly atmosphere for someone coming on their own as groups of runners are there together. Fastest runners were given medals, according to age groups, which meant that the last person which arrived at least 5 minutes after me also got a medal. Felt really down afterwards.

In short: Great scenary, some small climbs, mostly rural but some parts within the town. It has poured with rain just before and it still managed to not be too muddy on the off road bits.
