In short: Always a challenge, always a good race.
In full: The best cakes! So many nice touches like the hose and jelly babies. Plenty of water stations and sponges. A great race for racing or just running without pressure. Very scenic and very friendly. great social event as well as a great race.

In short: ow. This race hurts. Well marshalled and supportd.
In full: Just run it for the cakes and the medal.
The medal, like last year is great. The water; drinks; sponges; shower; jelly babies stations all frequent.
This is a well thought out run. Bit of a problem on the narrow roads with walkers, cars and cyclists though.

In short: Great Hill
In full: I don't like road races much so this wasn't a great race for me. Dull as ditch water. I tend not to look at the scenery as I'm running but you can't really knock Eastbourne for the sea. It's great. Enough runners that there's someone to have a bit of a race with. Plenty of water stations. Chocie bar at the end was a nice touch. ;-)

In short: Challenging race, friendly people, great scenery,
In full: Well thought out and executed.
Only my second marathon but I think I did ok. Felt a bit lonely near the end with no one in sight but along the way it was well supported.

In short: Someone somewhere has an evil mind.
In full: This race started with an offroad uphill slog. By the end of which I vowed never to run again. Then came the water and the mud and the silly notes. I loved this race and finished laughing.
