In short: A great alternative to London
In full: If you want a race that is not crowded like VLM then Brighton is for you, course has a few upflats but for the most is level, good roads and loads of water/energy drink points

In short: Great fun with some lumpy bits
In full: This race was moved from March to November but was still great fun, lumpy route was challenging at times but enough aid stations along the route.

In short: It's not a race it's a war
In full: Ok a little dramatic I know but that is how I feel about this race/war...each hill is a battle to be won and it nearly defeats you on so many occasions. The views are first class, the crowd and organisation brilliant...Would hate to do this race in the rain as you are extremely exposed on the hills...It also take you through some lovely forests, quiet little villages and right to the top of every steep hills the organisers can find....I will go back just not for a while.

In short: Simply amazing
In full: First Iron distance event and I blown away by everything from the organisation, registration, the course, marshals, volunteers, feed stations to the medals. My only minor gripe (and it is really minor) was there could have been more room in the changing/bag hanging area.
The course is fantastic and amazingly scenic to.
I will be back next year along with 50 other Pirates

In short: A well kept secret
In full: A really enjoyable race, only a small field but it had a personal feel to everything from loads of parking at the start to the happy marshals on the route.
The course is a lot hillier then i thought it would be, this mixed with the 23.c temp made it hard going, loads of water and sponge stops helped.

Will do this again for sure

In short: Brilliant race
In full: First time running this, great pre-race set up. Couse was great a real challenge, loved the hills and the marshals were first class, more than enough water and a top goody bag to boot.
TW Harriers can be proud.
