In short: I helped organise this race so my opinions are a bit biased.
In full: Please leave constructuve comments we are looking to make next year even better, already agreed water bottles for next year and we are looking at improving the number collection and distribution. Next years course will also be river side only, due to Bridge work so may be even more appealing.

In short: Weather conditions added to challenge
In full: Mud, rain and Wind made the challenge sadistically good fun. No prizes not even for winner despite entry form saying there was. A little disapointed

In full: You cannot cater for the weather, but another good race I do every year and will be back next year.

In short: First and only Marathon, but glad I chose this one.
In full: Yes it was windy and not being a marathon runner and finding the last 5 miles very painful, the crowd and marshals made this event a fantastic experience. As someone who only ever wanted to do a marathon once to tick the box I am glad I chose this one. The people of Nottingham really did the city proud. My impression of Nottingham has definitely changed. Thanks for all the above the call of duty support.

In short: This is what you get when non running club organises a race.
In full: I think this has got to be one of the worse organised races ever. But typical when a non running club tries to ordanise a race, especially one that is not from the local area. Leave it to the running clubs their is enough races in Burton without for profit event management companies weighing in.

In short: Well Organised and nice down hills.
In full: This was well organised and the last 2 miles of each lap seemed to be down hill, which is great to drive you home.

In short: Well Organised Deserved more runners
In full: This was a charity event, well organised and well marshalled, deserved more runners, perhaps promoting it with local Athletic clubs would give it the numbers it deserved, didnt see many club runners. PB potential course, infact I knocked off 1 minute from mine, which looked unlikely as my age is creeping up on me. Only slight critism, could have done with clipping a couple of the overhanging branches on the course, but enjoyed it.

In short: Need to sort out Fun Run from the Main Race and presentation
In full: This is a good race, in a freindly environment, although had to wait ages in the rain for presentation and results. Good prizes and nive course, although they set the fun run off behind the main race and some of the young lads got mixed up and ended up doing the 5 mile instead of the 2 mile as planned. Although they did quite well. Couple of improvements for next year organisers but overall enjoyed it.
