In short: After Feels amazing ....
In full: Having read the other reviews .... well yes it was pricey £170 for two days, but you got to run (or scramble on hands and knees at one point on day two!) through amazing scenery with great support from marshals (although it would have been nice if they could have accurately told you distance covered so far) great support and welcome over the finishing line.
what real made it special was the support from fellow runners - great race a true achievement to complete in one piece!

In short: Great atmosphere and great local support
In full: the hills did take it out of me a bit but as a back of the pack runner really really enjoyed the chat with other runners and great banter with local supports - al made even better with family sat supporting at 11miles (teas and bacon butties in hand!)

In short: Excellant day :-)
In full: First trail race and i will definitely be back - great marshals, not one said 'nearly there' - my pet hate.
Great atmosphere amongst challenge runners and only one rude Race runner.
Fabulous weather and clear blue sky also helped!

In short: Fab first marathon!
In full: Not the easiest first marathon but so well worth the trip.
the walk to the start was long but fellow runners were very chatty and actually help calm my nerves!
Fab course gorgeous scenery and challenging! Marshall's were friendly and very support all the way round no matter what time you were doing!
Would recommend this day to any one who likes to run away from the big city.
Thank you Fat Feet for a great day.
