In short: Very hard well organised cross country.
In full: My first BEAST; I found this very challenging and without milage markers difficult to pace. The organisation is excellent and there was a very friendly set of runners. It felt like a massive achievement to finish in under two hours (usual half 95mins)and I couldnt have run another foot by the time I finsihed. I will recommend this to my fit friends who want to challenge themselfs.

In short: well organised and offering flexiblity to change distance on the day.
In full: plenty of toilets, parking and tea at the start. Well organised with chip finish and ablity to change your mind on the day. Fairly quick registration and fairly flat route clearly marked.

In short: well organised challenging half
In full: Organised roadside parking, fast check in and just enough loos. Clear starting instructions but a constriction after 100yards made starting at the front important. Quite country lanes, very few cars, with undulations and two significant hills. Enjoyed the race it was quite competitive which pushed the pace. Lots of water points and marshals. T-shirt but no medal at finish. Well worth the trip, well done Lions.

In short: Once again an enjoyable well organised race
In full: I turned up 50 mins before the race and there was plenty of time to park up and use the toilets. I had pre registered and the on the day organisation appeared fine to me and unlike last year no delays driving away post the race. My main disapointment was the general lack of enthusiasm from marshalls and spectators but it was very cold. I would strongly recommend this race meeting to any one the timing and location are ideal. Profits going to a local worthy cause too.

In short: Once again very well organised fast race with excellent atmosphere.
In full: I really love this race, last chance in the year to post a good time, well organised, friendly and despite the cold has that feel good factor. Managed to park in an allocated parking field this year so maybe its even better than last year.

In short: Very well organised, enjoyable and challenging half matathon
In full: Easy parking, well organised and marshalled. Undulating and interesting course coupled with poor weather made this a challenging half. Very social group of runners on the day. Well done to the marshalls and the canteen ladies, loved the hot drink and bun.
