In short: Very enjoyable race
In full: Great race - very good organisation with friendly marshalls along the way. As already mentioned plenty of water stations offering gels, sponges, jelly babies and chocolate. Really enjoyed the run although I found it tough. It was good to get a hoody at the end and it actually fitted.

In short: 1st timer and loved every minute
In full: 1st time running this race and wasn't looking forward to it but so pleased I did. Great enertainment from the announcer who kept us smiling. although everything seemed to go wrong for the organisers they remained cheerful. Great marshalls, especially the children who were soaked but enthusiastically clapping and smiling. Loved the route except one bit of downhill which was tough. The goody bag and 'medal' at the end couldn't help make you smile. Thanks to Stockport for organising such a great event and I will be back next year.

In short: 1st time at Freckleton but will not be my last
In full: I really enjoyed this race as it was aimed at all abilities. Great atmosphere from the very beginning and cheerful marshalls encouraging you round. Best waer stations I have come across, sponges and showers as well as water. Cups are a pain but bottles are wasted and expensive. I will be back again.

In short: Great friendly race
In full: Great race, not scenic but what town run is, although it did finish in a park. Friendly atmosphere espcially helped by the great marshalling who even had time to encourage us back runners. Family occasion with children handing out jelly babies and water. Excellent value for money. Will be back next year, especially as I got a PB
