In short: Great debut half, hope it's a regular feature
In full: Excellent debut from the Ealing half. Really smooth organisation, even when the police forced a delay to the start. Great support from the locals along the way. It was hilly, but then I'm local so was prepared for some of them but think they might have been tough for first-timers. Still, it's better to have a challenge than not! And where else will you get Mel from the Great British Bake Off cheering you on and telling you to 'give it some Mo!"
I really hope it's a regular feature in the calendar, I'd love to do it again

In short: Great organisation, brilliant value
In full: my local race, so maybe biased but I thought this was very well organised, with lots of goodies for £12. Excellent value, nice atmosphere, great weather and I got a PB, so would definitely rate it highly!

In short: Great, for a reason
In full: the atmosphere at this race is bar none and so is the organisation, given the fact it has over 40,000 starters. This is my second year in a row, and I'd do it every year if I could get in. There are some inclines, but no massive hills, and the local support is truly fabulous. Where else do people line the streets with jelly babies, orange segments, water, Coke, hosepipes and ice pops! only downside is the water, dispensed in stupidly big bottles that didn't have the lid off. Spent 5 mins trying to get into one then gave up and took water off the locals instead. Plastic cups next year please!

In short: All those hills yet still managed a PB!
In full: This has 3 challenging hills, and is not great for runners who get bored doing laps but it is such a bargain for a nice course, nice organisation and good mementos at the end. Also, access to showers a real bonus - all for a tenner! It's very clubby and competitive, but if that doesn't bother you, then go. Rapidly becoming one of my favourite London 10ks and yesterday's PB really helped colour my view (even if I did feel like dying on the second hill...)

In short: Great organisation, good course, nice atmosphere, lovely goody bag
In full: you can tell how good a race is when you think it's great even though it's cold and wet. Really good organisation, only negative is that start and finish line not clear enough for those who are trying to measure our race time accurately. For the money it costs to enter, it's a total bargain and had a very friendly atmosphere. Good mix of runners.
Yes it's hilly but the clue is in the name. Loved it

In short: What's not to like?
In full: great weather, seamless organisation, really nice course with loads of water stations, lots of friendly locals to cheer you on, and a free ice lolly at the end. Perfect half marathon really. Probably a bit too undulating for a PB, but not so hilly it's too tough to do. I would recommend it to anyone

In short: decent race in suburbs, good if you're local, not if you're travelling by car
In full: thought the race itself was a decent course, very well-marshalled and signposted. Pre-race info on the parking in the area could have been better - no-one seemed to know exactly what was going on, or the street names where you could park. I would do again if I needed a 10k that wasn't too hilly

In short: start was a bit chaotic. Very hilly, not for your first 10k!
