In short: If your looking for a half marathon pb, this is it!
In full: A well organised race, I can't think of a single thing that didn't run like it said in the race information. The course is incredibly flat and fast. A bit dull going round the town but means it's incredibly well supported and drink stations have bottles which makes life easier. Probably the nicest medal I've had in over 20 races this year as well!

In short: Good challenging multi-terrain race.
In full: Second tiome doing this race and it was a improvement on last year. Slightly changed course which was much better and defo 10km's now. Lots of up and down and some tricky pathways so a bit of a challenge but a nice pleasent one (if that makes sense) would recommend for anyone from beginner to a vetren, plus cheap price too!

In short: Flaf course, shame about the marshalling.
In full: Well if your looking for a half marathon pb this is the course, very flat all the way round. Pretty well organised but it's a shame that a number of runners were sent the wrong way, means the final positions won't count for much.

In short: Great idea, brilliantly executed.
In full: Well what a fantastic 3 days! Honestly my favourite ever race weekend. The organisation was superb and the fact camping is included in the 3 day race price makes this a incredible bargin. The races themsleves are a little tricky, the trail race in the middle being the hardest of the three, but I wouldn't of had them any other way. Honestly if you get the chance to do this, sign up, you won't regret it, I'm a 110% definately in next year.

In short: Very well organised day, well set up course.
In full: Parking was easier enough. Plenty of facilities layed on for the non runners. Thought the organisation was spot on. Plenty of water stops, most I've had in a hlaf (mind you they were needed with the heat). Quite nice having the walkers go a hour before as it gave you targets to catch all the time! Couse itself is undulating rather than hilly, only 'bad' hill is mile 6-7 where it's a solid 1 mile of uphill. Last couple of miles in are downhillish. Would reccomend to anyone.

In short: Incredibly flat, defo PB course.
In full: Well very easy to find and well signposted. Plenty of car park space. Enered late but there was no problem picking up my number/chip. Organisation throughout the day can't be faulted. The course itself scenery wise is very exciting but it's perfect for a pb, 3 water stations which is plenty for a 10K. Good race.

In short: Multi terrain course, brilliantly organised.
In full: Second year of running this race and improvements made on last year. Large amount of marshalls for a short distance. Where the start/finish was, was much better. Classing as mutli terrian due to being on road, trail, and canal path. The first couple of km's are a little steep but pleasent enough through the rest. Can't fault the organisation apart from maybe a extra water station for people who run 50+ mins, escpecially with the hot weather today. But 10/10 guys.

In short: Thanks for a brilliant first marathon.
In full: Decided to run this race on the recommendation of some others and wasn't disappointed. The organisation was top notch, second to none. Even though it was a hot day there was plenty of water/sponge stations. Course is playfully undulating rather than hilly but this adds to the charm. Run it if you ever get the chance, fantastic race.

In short: First cross country and wow....just wow.
In full: I take my hat off to Compton Harriers for organising this, incredibly helpful marshalls and the check points with food as well as drinks were well stocked. The scenery at certain points (if you remebered to look around) was just stunning. Thank you Compton Harriers for a brillaint race.

In short: Nice well organised race.
In full: Living near by this was must to go to. Parking was a doodle at the train station. Good that a fun run was organised as well. Plenty of room to warm up before hand and cool down after. Nice scienc route, a couple of hills but nothing daunting. Bit suprised the first water station wasn't till nearly 5 miles into the course. But would recommend to anybody as a first race or a good challenge for a experienced runner. Top marks for the organisers for a enjoyable race. :-)
