In short: Well organised and friendly. The muddy conditions made for a testing challenge. In full: Lovely scenic route, although I did miss running through the woods in High Elms Park. Would be intersting to know the reason for the change? A few bottlenecks in places and difficult to pass at certain points. But all in all, another well organised run and well done to Orpington Road Runners. Date of review: June 25, 2012

In short: Well organised, lovely scenery and great PB potential In full: My third time in this race and smashed my PB by 11 minutes (being 20lb lighter also helps!!). This is a great follow on and very flat compared to the killer hills around the Tunbridge Wells Half. Well worth the entry fee and the fact that it sold out goes to show this becomming more and more popular. Well done PWAC and roll on next year!!! Date of review: April 2, 2012

In short: Outstanding ... I you only ever do one half-marathon in your life, then this is it!!! In full: From start to finish, the whole organisation is excellent ... other event organisors should take note.
This is my third successive year and to have my medal presented by Dame Kelly Holmes was the icing on the cake.
Spring Hill seems to be getting longer each year or am I just getting older? My favourite half-marathon on the circuit and will definately be back next year.
Well done all involved with this event!! Date of review: February 28, 2011

In short: A great race, one of the best 10K races around In full: You couldn't ask for a more nicer 10K. I forgot about the uphill section in the last 1K. Really well organised and nice support at the 7K point which I am sure helped a lot of people push on to the finish. Will certainly be back again next year. Easier to park in the station car park and just a 5-10 minute walk rather than try to find space on the surrounding roads. Date of review: October 11, 2010

In short: Overall organisation very poor. As for the actual race, all off road in a lovely setting which made up for the other shortcomings.. In full: Joined one queue to register and receive my race number. Had to join another queue to then pay!!! Anyone heard of multi-skilling?
No distance markers and poorly marshalled resulting in the wrong turn for a lot of runners. The race clock must have started before the off as I finished over 2 minutes quicker than their time. If lessons are learned from this and improvements made, then this has the potential to be one of Kent's best 10km runs. Date of review: September 13, 2010

In short: Fantastic weekend. Didn't get into London and what a godsend that was. My first marathon and after Brighton, not my last!! In full: The crowds were excellent and the weather just summed up the whole weekend ... fantastic. The industrial estate was torture (can this part be changed for next year?), but the thought of finishing on the sea front with the huge crowd cheering kept me going. Well done Brighton!!! In short: Lovely scenic course and challenging in places. A good race for those stepping up from 10k and working towards a half marathon. N In full: Would definately recommend this and will be back again next year. How about a medal for 2011? Date of review: February 1, 2010

In short: Delayed start did not help when most people had managed to get the for the 9.45am start. Poor mashalling and where was the music. Date of review: October 6, 2008
