In short: This event just keeps improving
In full: This event has grown from strength to strength. It is a fairly challenging course, but the hills keep it interesting too. A must event for a local runner

In short: Good flat course
In full: Lovely flat course in the Fens, was prone to the usual wind in your face at the turn at 2.4 miles. Am sure that one of the cone turns could be lost by moving the first turn very slightly further down, and maybe the start back a fraction, as two turns like that made it very hard. Saying that, despite the temperature on the day, still ran my best time in 2 years, so happy with that. Well done on a successful event

In short: Excellent race again
In full: Second time in three years that I have run this race. Its a small local event that also has a few good club runners in the mix. Its still a shame about the part that runs alongside the A12, and I am sure more runners would turn up if that was not in the course. However a well organised race, which I would run again.

In short: Excellent race as always
In full: This was once again an excellent race, the blinding course seems to go downhill most of the way around, and certainly from 6km onwards! I will be there again next year.

In short: Toughest 5km that I have raced so far
In full: Haved looked at racing this event for a couple of year, but never considered myself fast enough, glad I decided to take part this year. Undulating 2 lap course, and the hill on the second lap certain did hurt. As the marshals were the same as for the Citys parade, they didnt give much help as to where the start was, in fact two different marshals sent us completely the wrong way, and we found ourselves in the wrong place with less than 15 minutes to the start, that could be improved. In the main an enjoyable event though, that I would certainly go back and run again

In short: Enjoyable event on pancake flat roads
In full: An excellent event, enjoyed it from start to finish, with the added bonus of picking up my first trophy too, yippee! The wind after 8 miles was not welcome, but I have encountered worse on the fens in other races. The bacon butty was lovely too.

In short: Tough event but worth the effort
In full: This is a tough event, but you can tell by the numbers that enter that it is well supported. The hills are not easy especially the one just after 7 miles, but at least this year the wind was behind us going up it! See you all again next year.

In short: Excellent super fast race, not to be missed
In full: Excellent race, 4 lap flat course that just asks for good times to be run. Excellent for spectators as they get to see you each lap. Not organised by a running club so dont expect the usual organisation, but dont let that put you off, the people that do organise do a very good job for a popular event. This race should not be missed!!
