In short: Slightly challenging but worth it for the glorious scenic route
In full: Lovely route, hilly in places but really enjoyed this multi terrain run. A nice mixture of track, grass and road to keep you on your toes. Organisation was good, marshalls friendly and a much appreciated water stop at 6 miles as it was a sunny day. Cake and tea afterwards made it all worth it! A gem of a race.

In short: Really friendly and well organised race
In full: I was told by someone this was course was 'flat as a pancake' just before the start so thought I may be into PB territory but I would describe it more as undulating and it was hard work after a few months away from running. This race had a lovely atmosphere, really friendly and very well organised everything in one place toilets, parking, start and finsih. I'm not used to drinking stations on 10k's but this had 5 which was makes it very beginner friendly too. Definately going to return next year hopefully get a much better time!

In short: My first 20 miler
In full: This was my first ever 20 miler so I was very nervous. Understand there had been a lot of complaints from locals about runners so main emphasis of the race was on making sure we didn't upset them. We were under watchful eye of police and marshalls with shouts of 'get left' rather than any words of encouragement. No obvious sign exactly where the finish was however the runners themselves were fantastic in what was horrible weather.
