In short: Love this one!
In full: Beautiful scenery - and even the weather was perfect again. Challenging but fast route - danger of tripping while looking at the views.

There were problems with the buses which delayed the start, but being on one of the first buses, and being a slow runner, it didn't really affect me.

Still a fixture on my race calendar.

In short: Just Brilliant
In full: I always worry when I run a race one year and love it, that when I go back the next year, it's not as good as I remember. Not so with this one - fabulous from start to finish.

The trip across the dunes was tough, but the breathtaking scenery once you got out there really took your mind off your legs.

I've run lots of races where you pass locals who don't have a clue what's going on - not so in Campbeltown where everyone had a cheer and a "well done" for the runners.

Another one to add to the Permanent Fixtures list on my racing calendar!

In short: Breathtakingly gorgeous route
In full: Fabulous course, brilliant organisation, people cheering in the unlikliest of places. This is the race all others should be measured against.

In short: Once again, a faultless race.
In full: I'm biased, being local, but this race is just brilliant. I like running in the rain, although I could cope with a little less than we had this year. I hope all the marshalls got medals too.

In short: Wonderful. Can't say good enough things about this race.
In full: Must be a serious contender for The Most Scenic Race of the year. The beach stretch was breathtaking. Marshalls everywhere you turned, and the enthusiasm of the locals who came out to watch was brilliant. A must do race.

In short: This may even challenge Loch Ness for my "event of the year". I loved every minute of it. The scenery was fab, the marshalls were the friendliest yet, and everything was so laid back.
In full: Please please please make this an annual event. The massive PB I got isn't colouring my judgement at all!

In short: It just gets better every year
In full: What can I say? Wonderful race, scenery to die for, slick organisation, the best t-shirt in the race calendar, and snacks at the water stations in the second half. Even the weather was perfect for running. Permanent fixture on my race calendar.

In short: This is one that I will do every year!
In full: Once again, the organisers have done a tremendous job in running this event. Hard to believe it's only in it's 3rd year. All the volunteers at the drinks stations were so supportive, and the atmosphere was brilliant. A must do race for any marathoner.
