In short: Loved it!
In full: Lovely Sunday morning run on forestry trails. Steady climb for 3.5m, gently rolling at the top with a fab exciting descent.
Absolutely loved it!
My son ran the kids race and thoroughly enjoyed it- he's still showing off the medal! Unfortunately I didn't see him finish as i was getting ready for the main race as it didnt kick off until 10.30. Ideally if it could start slightly earlier it would give more time before the main race to watch our children.
Fab race-well done Ponty. Will be back next year ....

In short: Results
In full: Always a great PB course. Price is still v expensive for a 10K race and the last minute reduction for affiliated runners was unfair and not fully thought through for those affiliated runners that were prepared to support the charity and paid the full £21.50. Unless the reduction is applied at outset next year I shall be waiting until last minute to enter just in case the reduction is made again.

Very bad for not having a water station which is a pre-requisite for a licensed 10K race and potentially a health & safety issue.

For anyone wanting to see the results I have a copy on our website:-http://islwynrunningclub.org.uk/Results-2011.php

In short: Chenged course better course than last year..
In full: My 2nd time running this race and I enjoyed it far more than last year. I much preferred the changed course, even if it did mean killer steps and a few extra inclines!! Weather was great and good support from marshalls and fellow runners and to top it off I got a great t-shirt in my size (S).
Well done San Domenico.

In full: It came as a surprise when everyone begun to run, as there was no indication that the race had started!!
For someone who hates laping, I really enjoyed the course. The laps were varied enough not to seem repetative and couldnt have asked for better weather.
The marshalls were really friendly and supportive throughout.
My Garmin clocked a slightly longer course of 20.15 miles and it wasnt obvious that mugs were being given out at the end (I had to go back for mine!!). Apart from the few organisation issues, a great race. Thanks Glouc AC.

In short: Brilliant run - shame about the congestion at start and disappointing goody bag!!
In full: 2nd year I've done this race and I really enjoyed this year's course.
A few gripes though; the start was so congested due to runners in the wrong time zone. Can we please have colour coded bibs to resolve this?
It would also have been nice to have indication of an upcoming water stations as it was all a bit of a panic for runners.
I couldnt believe the goody bag could be worse than last year's. I take it back about last year's the hand towel!!! T-shirt would be a nice touch considering the cost!!
That said, brilliant run with great atmosphere - will be back next year.

In short: Excellent 10K - shame about the 2K organisation
In full: I really enjoyed the new 10K course - good prep for the Cardiff 1/2 as this course runs part of the same course, however it was a bit congested at the start. Excellent organisation on the 10K, shame about the 2K. There was lots of confusion about where the finish was, needless to say I didnt see my daughter finish her race and disappointedly didnt then see her until I finished the 10K.
That aside I did manage to get a PB - so very happy.
