In short: Amazing support from people and great overall organisation In full: This was a great race as it had a great mix of running through town and also running in the country.
The support from the people who came to watch was amazing and made a huge difference to the atmsphere!
The organisation was brilliant and clear in terms of what you had to do and where you had to go.
This was a great race and one to remember for a long time! Date of review: March 24, 2011

In short: Great race and Great medal!! In full: Apart from what has been said about the start, which has been clearly shown so no longer needed to be mentioned, you can't fault the route and the atmosphere on the course.
Marshals were all brilliant and really encouraging (definitely important when doing a local race like this), the running on country lanes was great and the hills were good as the benefits could be gained on the downhill.
Definitely one for the calendar and generally well executed. Well done St. Albans Striders!! Date of review: January 25, 2011

In short: Frustrating and horrible In full: As everyone else has said, it was really badly planned, in a bad location and at a stupid time for where it was.
One of the worst bits was seeing every other country running in the light all at once while we were running in the dark slowly through an industrial estate.
I am curious to know why they never released times for the starts of waves and why we were trapped in the stadium for the concert when so few people wanted it.
Clearly a run for non-runners and wouldn't be fun for them either.
