In short: Loved it. Friendly and about as flat as you'll get in the downs area.
In full: Wonderful race and surprised myself at finishing. Great marshals and just the minor lack of jelly babies to moan about. Never run this far before but will be back next year if held.
Can't remember what was in the goody bag or exactly how i got home but all in all a delightful way to spend a sunday morning.

In full: No snow this year but some seriously sticky mud. Don't wear new trainers for this event. Nice downhill finish which is always pleasing to me. Well run event but more toilets would be nice as some runners missed the start waiting in queues. Good stuff and will be running the course again soon.

In short: My favourite race of the year!
In full: Weather again beautiful and course as challenging as always. The extra rain seemed to make the clay pits easier if anything. Warmed up in the water before the race to some bemused looks (obviously first timers who knew nothing of what was to come). The only problem wih The Grim is i now have to wait another year for my next fix. Come on guys what are you gonna do for us addicts? I just need one more hit!

In short: Tough tough race for average runners. But good memories when the pain subsides.
In full: Very tough in icy and wet conditions. No chance of a PB as rather hilly and ice to contend with. Postcard scenery in the snow but a little too tough to actually enjoy it at times.
