In short: A NICE RUN IN THE COUNTRY In full: i personally enjoyed the run and the scenery alot, however it did feel very clubby. very few slow/fun runners. this did put off a friend who dropped out at 3 miles. but overall it was a good race with a good atmosphere. it just felt more like club racing then runner for fun. be back next year. In short: well organised 10km run In full: would have had a grwat time as the course only has one very small hill, but pulled my hamstring at 7km and had to limp it out for a km. but still managed 62 mins (aiming at 55) Date of review: March 29, 2009

In short: a great local firendly XC In full: well local little race with great looking but challenging course. glad it was dry as a wet race would have made it really tough. finish lacked some attention to detail but still great. fantastic bacon rolls at end. Date of review: March 1, 2009

In short: a brisk course made for the beginner to set a PB In full: not the most scenic and the course isn't the most interesting. but the relative flatness of the course with some slight gradients makes for a good course to set PB. I took a minute off mine on this course.
only major downer was it is based at a busy gym with alot of members that were not interested in the race or racers. i heard many matterings from people bringing there kids in to drop them off at tennis or something, complaining the race was in there way. aminly cause they couldn't park easily and runners were running up the car park entry to the finish that meant they had to wait 2 minutes. but you shouldn't be put off by them.
