In short: Undulating means very very Hilly - A challenging but worth giving it a go
In full: 3rd year of running this so I must like it. Gloriuos scenery and mostly off road so no traffic for most of the course. I managed a PB today but not great potential as such a challenging race. Organisation was great in most parts but in places could be improved. A little bit clubby but overall a great atmosphere and a race worth trying. Especialy if you like Hills !

In short: Brilliantly well organised & great atmosphere
In full: My first marathon and except from the whole new world of pain these distances give you the race itself was fantastic - organasation was superb and the teams of marshalls were great. Loads of drink stations and loo's and the racecourse start / finish was special - very scenic apart from the miles and miles of farmland but villages and Chester were lovely

In short: Another superb race - I will be back again next year
In full: New route was a little hillier than previous year but nothing to worry about still fairly flat and good PB potential - organisers did a superb job given Muller pulled out and the wind caused problems with the main marque but even that was sorted very effectivley - well done & thanks for another great race

In short: Third year of this race but felt this year was missing something and the reversal of the route was testing
In full: The rain didnt help this year as paths were very muddy but that aside - the start was good and most marshalls were very good but 1 or 2 were not very possitive to us slower runners !
A very challenging route especially the extra loop by the bridge and the hill at mile 8 - 9.
In all a good race but this year it was missing something - Oh and the Beenie hat is great

In short: Good race but needs improvment
In full: The route shows great pottential but the heat was too much today at 30 odd degrees ! Charming little race but the start needed better organising. May consider it next year but wont put my name down just yet

In short: Memorable Race
In full: 2nd year for me and again superbly organised. Good support from marshalls and crowds but not as good as last year. Cold start and a bit windy but it was relief at the end. Tunnel part is FAB - I have a fascination about Tunnel's & Bridges - how sad !!

In short: Brilliant all round race
In full: Well done to the organisers & to Muller who have been exceptionally generous with free goodies and a lovely sports bag and tech t shirt.
Great family atmosphere and lots to do before / during & after the main race to keep spectators busy - even a beer tent !
Only niggles were the bottleneck when exiting the school on to the raod and kids race was a lovely idea but needs better organising - nobody knew where to go or what was happening but so good to see kids getting involved.
