In short: Loved every minute (except miles 8 to 18) In full: Still buzzing from Sunday, had a brilliant day. Fantastic supportive crowds, incredibly kind marshalls and great organisation generally. Ran with shingles (which i didn't know at the time) so didn't have the race I was expecting but the brilliant atmosphere had me grinning like a cheshire cat for the back 8 miles. The memory of Sunday will stay with me for a long time :-) Date of review: April 24, 2012

In short: Where's my Mars Bar? In full: Just got home from this lovely race on a beautiful (if a little warm) day. Good organisation, scenic, undulating course and good support at beginning and end. My only complaint? I know its for charity but surely the sponsor Tesco could manage a better edible reward than a lunchbox apple thing that resembled and tasted like a cylinder of plastercine - grim. Overall a lovely race for a great cause and would definately do it again. Date of review: September 27, 2009

In short: Great Day Out In full: My first half and in my home town - loved it! The course was pretty easy going and the support was great, especially the drummers under the IDR and stadium finish although both left me choked up which isn't great as a breathing technique. There are more scenic areas of the town admittedly but all was fine except mile 11/12, I'd rather go right round Green Park than double back. Goodie bag v generous and medal reminded me of Jim'll Fix It - the volunteers handing these out were lovely too. All in all a great climax to the training plan - hope to be back next year...
