In short: Undulating scenic run, with killer hill to finish. In full: An interesting course with plenty of ups and downs and a very long up at the end, which defeated my weary legs about 3/4's of the way up. Managed to summon enough energy to run the final part of the flatter up hill climb. Probably ok for club runners, but for a relative beginner quite a tough and challenging course.
Weather this year was very wet and windy making conditions harder and this probably saw fewer runners enter, and making the Cranham feast festival less enjoyable as we all cowered under the roof of the cricket pavilion to stay dry.
Overall though, sadistically quite enjoyed it, and would do it again (if the weather was a little drier), and thankfully there was some free bottles of Lucozade and water at the end. Date of review: August 12, 2008

In short: Nice flat course, ideal for a beginner (such as myself) Date of review: July 17, 2008
