In short: I have run it twicw now and am in it again this year...
In full: It is a fantastic race, even though it is all road. It feels you are almost on the trails as you have beautifull 360deg views for the majority of the race.

I have to agree with Daniel, this race has a special draw which brings people back year on year to battle themselves and the elements.

Lets be fair the lead guy last year who dq'd is back this year to probably smash it.

In 2010 this was my first ever 100mile race and to be fair that experience alone convinced me to enter more longer distance events such as the gucr.
