In short: Friendly atmosphere, well organised event
In full: This was my first 10k race so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was very impressed. It was a nice atmosphere, the organisation and marshalling were faultless and I was surprised by the number of people offering support along the route. Well done and thanks to all involved

In short: Well organised race. Shame about the weather
In full: Second time here and once again well done to the organisers and a big thankyou to the cheerful supportive marshalls. Last year the weather was lovely but this year it was awful. Running the uphill section from mile 6 to mile 9 into the wind was horrible! Still, that is the British weather for you I suppose. The atmosphere was very good. This is a very friendly event and I was surprised how many locals turned out to cheer on the runners despite the rain.

In short: Fantastic, well organised event
In full: What a great course. My second marathon which I had intended to be my last but I enjoyed this so much I will be back! A big thank you to the organisers and volunteers who did a great job. The whole thing was superbly well organised and faultless.

In short: Great day out with a fantastic atmosphere made by the crowds of supporters
In full: This is the largest event I have done to date and it was amazing to see how many people came out to support the runners. It was really uplifting and kept me going for a PB. The finish in the stadium was great and so were the goodie bags. I would definitely recommend it to anyone - a race to convert non-runners!

On the downside the race village was overcrowded at the start, number of runners made overtaking difficult in first half of the race and my garmin made it 13.21 miles!
