In short: Best organised road race I've done, a credit to the organisers
In full: Sent this to Gillingham Trotters to express my thoughts:
I'd like to congratulate you on a superbly organised race. authorised number swapping, taking numbers back, waiting list for entries, Great value, Great marshalling, great to have personal drinks at 20 + 30k, where else do you get that without being an elite runner? Minibuses back to the start!!!!! Other clubs would do well to look at your race as as something to be aspired to. And I got a pb and the weather was good (maybe the last 2 weren't things you could influence, but hey!)
Thank you for a top marathon running day!

In short: Good race well organized, seemed more downhill than up. PB so very happy
In full: Good marshalling, great day for running. Friendly spectators offering good support. Someone should've let the bacon butty van man at the Car Boot know that there was a run on, he would have made a mint!!!!! Enjoyed it, see you next year.

In short: Great day out, good PB potential if the wind's right, all the organisation was done before we got there.
In full: As with other runs along that bit of coast, the overcliff back to Boscombe is a deceptive slope that you wouldn't notice in a car but as mile 10 + 11 a real leg sapper! Good marshalling throughout, great support along the way. Nice and sunny without being baking hot too. Can't complain at a PB as well.

In short: Definite pb potential. Well organised, excellent running teeshirt freebie.
In full: Fantastic!! Well organised, friendly, well marshalled, good admosphere, very flat but in no way dull (lovely countryside route)pb potential course. Training tee not far off being worth the entry fee by itself. Well done Zoom Tri Club, you've done yourselves proud with this one. Keep up the good work.

In short: Good weather for running, deceptive shallow gradient along the cliff top. Pity about the marshalling at the end.
In full: A good course, long and flat for 1st 3 1/2 k. A very subtle slope ate into my legs along the cliff top road (4 - 7k), but was managable. Last left turn to get to the finish wasn't indicated by signage and no visible marshalling when I went past (following several others ahead) meant the distance we ran was 10.8k, adding 3mins to time, so disappointing in that respect. However, if you look at it as £6 for a very effective 15min deep tissue massage at the end, it was still very much worth doing. Would go again next year.
