In short: Good PB potential race around some of the nicer parts of MK.
In full: I really enjoyed this race around MK including some of the nicer villages. Mostly flat for good speed potential apart from the tricky climb in the last mile. Mile markers well visible and plenty of water stations. I have read complaints about the organisation but I had no complaints - it all went like clockwork for me. Xscape centre a good location for the start, no problem parking or getting away and plenty of places to eat afterwards. Weather was absolutely perfect. All round, a great experience.

In short: Glorious scenery and a nice atmosphere
In full: -4C at the start according to my car's thermometer. Despite that, a beautiful clear sky and bright sun made this a lovely run through Oxon countryside from Hooky to the Rollrights. Friendly marshalls and good spirits from the runners (lots of club runners). A bit slippy in places - I saw one runner take a tumble on the road. Overall, I will definitely be back next year!

In short: Friendly race, great location, lucky with the weather
In full: Two laps of a hilly course in Woburn deer park. About half the course on grass which got very muddy, especially for the 5k runners! Good atmosphere for beginners. No chip timing and no medal (shame).

In short: Great, friendly race. Beautiful scenery and an uplifting atmosphere.
In full: Will definitely be back next year! Extra bonus marks for the friendly marshalls and water station volunteers. Nice spread of refreshments in the leisure centre. Lovely family atmosphere at the finish.

In short: Tough race through beautiful woods and great organisation
In full: Hot and hilly! Great race but could have done with more water stations in my view. Race HQ in grounds of beautiful school. Car park some walk from start.

In short: Lovely friendly atmosphere, nice flat run with PB potential
In full: Friendly race at Willen Lake in MK. Novelty factor of bananas to race against although they weren't very good at keeping to their predicted pace! Everyone in banana yellow tshirts makes for a fun event. Well signposted and clear km markers. All my family had a fun day out.

In short: Nice flat race through Oxford's beautiful streets.
In full: Despite poor weather I enjoyed this busy race. Unlike other reviewers I thought the km markers were clearly obvious - I saw all 9. Will be back next year.
