In short: very friendly. too many turns for a very good time. In full: Potential to be a really good race with a few changes. Agree that the last 10k should be run first. Really didn't like so many turnaround points. With more runners it would be impossible to marshall. I ran straight into 2 people when we went over the bridge for the first time. The industrial estate was really tedious - running over that bridge became increasingly demoralising. Maybe 2 loops of the pretty section would be nicer and good for the spectators. The water stations were good. The organisers deserve a lot of praise for putting on such an event with no major hitches. I'd not been to this part of the world before - lovely scenery- should be a good advert for the area. I'm for the 9am start. If you are not from the area you'll come up the night before. A later start just means you are running in the hotter part of the day for longer. Well done to everyone for putting on such an event.
