In short: Awsome scenery and challenging course - isn't that what you're after? In full: I thoroughly enjoyed this (my second) Ultra Trail race. It had everything in terms of trail (grass, mud, scree), including the punishing hills along the Malvern Hill range, and some road sections. We were 'lucky' enough to also have a range of weather too - rain for the first 2hrs along the Severn Way, followed by bright skies and a heavy heat over the hills.

In short: Well organised, fun race In full: About 30secs off what I was expecting, but then it was very wet and never worth taking corners at speed in such conditions. Date of review: December 9, 2007

In short: Challenging course but a great race In full: Very well organised race on a nice quiet runner-friendly route (we did get good weather though!). Don't expect to get a PB on this course, it isnt going to happen. But for those who like a challenge, this course has a nasty sting at mile 3 with the hill to Upper Rochford. Try and get up it without breaking into a walk. I'll be back next year! Date of review: August 7, 2007
