In short: Muddy and Hilly
In full: My first attempt at anything of this type of distance. The organisation was excellent, the marshals were very friendly and very encouraging, especially for a slowcoach like me. There were more than enough water stations. I'll be back for another crack once I've sorted out my hill training!

In short: Lovely Scenery
In full: My first race since 2003! I entered online, got my number in good time, collected my chip no problem and was at the start in good time. The scenery was lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed the race even though I found the grassy/muddy bits hard going. I'm definitely coming back next year.
