In short: A chance to see the English Rivera at its best.
In full: The route is very similar to the Torbay half marathon runnnig between Torquay and Paignton with a couple of laps of the green. Marshalls were excellent and nice t-shirt at the end. Not traffic free but that didn't cause any problems.

In short: Spectator friendly half with great views and a brilliant t-shirt.
In full: Another great half marathon. This is my local so I do it every year. The course may be repetative but that makes it very spectator friendly. Bring the whole family they will love it. The technical t-shirt was a nice touch this year. One you will actually get some use from.

In short: Great organisation and a superbly friendly atmosphere.
In full: This was my first marathon and I loved it. Great organisation and a nice undulating course. It wasn't traffic free but that didn't seem to cause any problems as the lanes were nice and quiet. The marshalls and spectators were great even if the second lap did feel a little lonely. I loved running through the start/finish area to begin my second lap. Had to sprint the last 400m to get in under 3hrs which I managed with 20 seconds to spare.

In short: Good hard trail race.
In full: Good route just make sure you don't wear your cross country shoes as there is a fair bit of road. Trail was good and marshalls were friendly. Only slight problem was that I went the wrong way in Haldon woods up near the Obelisk due to lack of signs and marshalls and I wasn't the only one. Lost lots of time and places which was a bit annoying. Apart from that had a great day out.

In short: Hilly, muddy and scenic. Excellent race.
In full: A great race well worth adding to your racing calender. Got lost a couple of times on the route due to a marshall being absent on the first corner and the marking not being clear in places. That's the fun of cross country races. A mug and milkshake at the end.

In short: Excellent organisation and a great race.
In full: Mixed terrain race out and around Stover Park. Lovely scenery and no hills which is a bonus. I would definately recomend this one to runners of all levels.
