In short: Great atmosphere and organisation, overall a brilliant first marathon experience
In full: Good:
1. Really well organised with plenty of water stations
2. Fantastic atmosphere and crowd support
3. Most of the course was really well routed and plenty of scenic interest/crowd support
4. Nice medal

Bad:
1. Loop around the power station was a bit grim and desolate but appreciate that this route probably helped avoid more hills
2. Was a bit boring on the loop around the residential street, some more live music would have been appreciated
3. Could have been better crowd control at some points later on, runners were getting a bit hemmed in by the crowd
