In short: I LOVED THIS PARTY! In full: Great race,Thank you to all the Marshals, locals and volunteers who made this day fantastic. I want to run it again... But Brighton Marathon you decided to ramp the costs up.... Not happy and cant believe the increase was close to £20 more.. Greed i think? im not sure. But if the price was increased a little I would enter again, but £20 come on!! Thats just wrong! Date of review: April 16, 2013

In short: Thank you Telford Harriers. Great Race In full: Well this is my second year running this fab race. After a postponement from our less than tropical weather, They worked really hard to organise the race the following weekend. First half was fast and down hill, then over the iconic Ironbridge to be greeted by "The Hill" it went on and on... Second half my race went to pot. I tripped up / slid on ice. Climbed a few felled trees. But this is what added to the fun. The Marshals were truly fantastic. Giving me great cheers even when I felt rubbish. Excellent organisation, Marshals (Again)This is a race for the hardened runner, who likes a challenge in a Half Marathon. Lets just say, I wanted to run 20 miles by running home but I was beaten at the finish. Yes its really that challenging. I WILL RETURN NEXT YEAR! Thank you Telford Harriers. cracking job! In short: Weather put aside... Organisation needs to be looked at! In full: Fab course, great athmophere, considering the horendous weather conditions.BUT After completing the race and endured the severe weather conditions (40mph head wind, sleet and rain) to find out "NO MEDAL" cmon!! Us runners run for a medal. The cost of the race entry we expect a goody bag, medal and T shirt. Not happy to have to register to get my medal sent in the post...I will run this race again, but sort this organisation PLEASE!! I would like to thank the Marshalls for doing a great job! In short: What a great Race In full: This is a hard race to run, but the marshalling, scenery and a good athmosphere. Hats off to the Telford Harriers for doing an excellent job again! Not PB potential, but ideal to finish with a scence of achievement, that you have conquered that horrid mountain (Cough) hill. This is a race I will do again. Thank you... Oh and one suggestion for 2013. Could we have a medal next year? pretty please xxx Date of review: April 1, 2012

In short: What a fantastic day! In full: This was my 10 Half marathon, third time running Birmingham, each time I get a PB. But this year it the one to remember. Once again the locals were out to cheer us on. Plenty of water stations, very well organised start, which is a big improvement from last years feasco when it was with EDF. This was my Husbands first Half and he has now been converted! I obtained a PB and my Hubby smashed that by 2 mins. Well done to BUPA, Marshalls, and the Birmingham Locals. Its always a pleasure to run the great Birmingham half! WELL DONE! See you all next year! Date of review: October 24, 2011

The Marshalls were excellent very supportive and locals were out giving us tired runners full support. Hearing our names being cheered following by positive comments made me emotional at some points and vowing to return for more! Towards the end was just great! entering the racecourse heading towards the grandstand gave me the sence of "being special" "This is my time" And boy that was a great feeling. Great Medal, Great Tech long sleave T and great goody bag! Thanks MBNA, Marshalls and locals for a fantastic Day. A day I will never forget! Date of review: October 17, 2011

In short: Second time in Hell In full: 2009 I ran this race it was hard. Second time 2011, didn't disapoint! It was hard, Smelly, muddy... At one point we wanted to give up, but we carried on... So Glad we did now. This was harder (hills of hell were HELL) I even seen men cry. Im a softy road runner, but this race will be the making of you. One major grype.. MORE WATER STATIONS PLEASE. First and last one was at miles 7. Not good when you are about to collaps with dehydration. We heard a cheer when we approached the water station. Other than that, top race and we will be back for more Hell! Date of review: September 12, 2011

In short: What a great day!! I WILL BE BACK! In full: Fantastic organisation, Friendly. Although I was injured I romped in with a PW. But I don't care as I was training for a Marathon. However this was a great little race, very friendly and a great finish. It gave me a warm fuzzy feeling when I finished, the sort I would get from the bigger races such as the GNR. I WILL BE BACK!! to improve on my time and to attend injury free.... Thank you Stuart and Phil for a fun, friendly, well organised race. See you in 2012 x Date of review: July 4, 2011
