In short: excellent, challenging but not too challenging
In full: this was my second time and my only complaints were there could have been more toilets, and the drinks on course was from cups, so difficult to drink and run at the same time, bottles would be preferable. On the plus side, lovely hoodie, fantastic marshalls, so encouraging. I smashed 10 mins off my last time so very happy.

In answer to Paulrunner, the different colour hoodies are from other years, grey for 2010, navy for 2009

In short: excellent way to spend a day
In full: great run although this year the goody bag was not as generous runners got a great rucksack last year, and the car parking was not free as had been in previous years, also there could have been a few more toilets seemed less than last year, great crowds for lots of the run though and weather was perfect for this fast flat course

In short: great day had
In full: being my first marathon i was chuffed to get under 4 hours, the second lap was tough at times as i was on my own for quite a while after the split and the hill was tough second time around but plenty of water stations and good marshalls kept me going, and how nice to see so many toilets for runners around the course. a goodie bag would have been nice at the finish too!

In short: good atmosphere, a lucozade station about mile 9 would have been great as it was a hot day
