In short: This is what all race organisations should strive for In full: Hats off to the Marshals, they really wanted to be there and without exception every one cheered the runners along. Crowd deserve a clap as well as all runners were warmly received both at the start / finish and 5/8 mile marker at the pub. Nice touch to have the band playing there as you got a lift twice!
goody bag / frequency of water made for a great value run (some £12 cheeper than Reading where only £1 going to charity tut tut)
Many thanks to PP for organising. I'd love to know how much was raised for the charity? Date of review: March 23, 2009
In short: A challenging, hilly race for those wanting great scenery and a change from the flat In full: Marshalls were great and the scenery, particulary with the fabulous weather made it a glorious morning out.
The hills were killers for me, but as a training ground for building stamina and endurance it was great.
Not sure I would have done the race if I had known about the hills, but pleased I managed to get round in a reasonable time.
My only other comment would be the loos had quite a long queue leading up to the 30 mins before the event.
Oh, just 1 last comment, the burger van was quite reasonable and did a grand brew! Date of review: September 29, 2008
