In short: For a duathlon loather I am converted!! In full: The Chilly Duathlon is in a great location and is aptly named - it is always windy at Castle Combe. The pre-race info was very thorough and despite being ill earlier in the week, it inspired me to race on the day.
I thought the organisation was both slick and friendly and would be a source of comfort for beginners to the sport.
The actual course could make for a very fast time and the best bit is being totally off the road and not having to compete with traffic.
Brilliant - I'll see you again in Feb. Date of review: December 16, 2010
In short: Lovely event, flattish course and fabulous marshalls! A few more loos wouldn't have gone amiss though. In full: Very slick organisation, plenty of well organised parking and a very friendly atmosphere. The route was lovely, so well done to Zoom Tri. Technical Tshirt and medal were some of the nicer ones I've seen. A few more loos would have been good, but other than that it was a top day out! Date of review: March 1, 2009
