In short: This is for 2011 as I couldn't find a forum for 2010
In full: To be fair, the race has all good intentions and the spectators are fantastic, loved the music on the way round today, but I have a few grumbles:

1 - signage to car park
2 - car park itself - 30 mins to exit is not necessary - not like it's Glastonbury tipping out!
3 - pace markers , you couldn't read their signs
4 - signage on start line for where to stand for your time, were not above head height!
5 - AND THE BIGGEST GRUMBLE....having to queue for 3/4 minutes having given your guts over the finish line for a drink of water....dangerous....!

In short: Very enjoyable, quite flat. Nice feel.
In full: Lovely support. Not a big field, so needed the supporters to make you feel as if you were getting somewhere. Lovely Girl Guides with water and lollies! Shame the water wasn't actually at the finish, as was looking for it desperately.

In short: Incredible atmosphere spoilt by squashed start
In full: Such a worthwhile cause, but my husband and I are regular runners and were expecting to have a penned start. Frankly the charge at the start was dangerous, whilst faster runners were trying to get away, some people were wanting to walk, and the poor wheelchair users were blasted from all sides. Also why was the start on an uphill? Surely the point is to get everyone going! At £22 entry fee, we would have expected colour coded time pens on the start.
