In short: Great race with PB potential...
In full: An incredible experience and very well organised. Obviously the years of organising half marathons in Brighton have paid off.

A lot of it has already been said in terms of room for improvement but I'll echo the comments anyway as I'm sure the organisers will read these reviews:

1) More toilets at the start is a must as we got there an hour early and spent 40 minutes queuing. Pissoirs for the men maybe?

2) A powerade stop before 10 miles would help.... maybe 7 miles is about right. (Although I was impressed that all 3 flavours were available).

3) They certainly need to sort the accuracy of the chip times out... very confusing and frustrating to get the wrong information.

4) At the end, most of the stairs up to the road were blocked off for runners to leave the finish area. We were routed much further along which was not welcome after such a long run in the sun.

On the positive side I felt this was a run to rival London with amazing support and a great route (except for the Power station which will assume the same dread next year as the original London marathon cobbled area). The medals were quality and I hope they keep that level up for next year. I feel the race can grow in size but only slightly to keep it as special as it felt yesterday.

In short: Wet, hilly and a good sense of achievement...
In full: Really good fun, lots of downs make up for the long up at 9k so borderline PB potential. Sadly Graham Taylor couldn't make it due to genuine personal circumstances. This was my first time here but will return next year!

In short: Not a mug fan either...sorry...
In full: I normally like to wear my medal in bed after the big event... not going to happen with a mug! ;o)

However, great scenery, good organization and the fifth time I have done this race. In training for October Dublin marathon so a great last long run for me.

In short: Great scenery but poor value for money
In full: Would have liked to see some of the £17.50 entry fee go to the cancer charity. Costly for a 10k and suggests far too much was spent on advertising.

However, great course, mildly challenging and a good atmosphere.

In short: What hill!?
In full: It's all been said, mildly challenging course, very hot day, great marshals, ok t-shirt but would have preferred as big medal!

In short: Wind...what wind?
In full: Such a fast course I too managed to knock 10 mins off a PB which stretched back for 5 years. :-D

Well organised, excellent marshalls, mostly accurate mile markers, acceptable weather (think Scotland!), great views and amazing atmosphere in the grandstand at the end.

Nice medal, poor t-shirt but worth doing. Hopefully the organisers will see the ratings for value and ensure this won't rise in price next year as it's on the cusp...

In short: Great PB potential.... as I proved!
In full: A good race, nice route and thinned out very quickly. Organiser could have done with a loud-speaker and a few road signs would have helped to find the event! Very friendly marshalls though and chocolatey goodness at the end.

In short: Flat, fast course but very few runners!
In full: A good flat course, 3 laps, ok medal and very cheap entry but less than 70 runners though it was great to come in the top 20 and not the top 2,000!

Personally I had a great race and smashed 4.30 mins of my 10k PB... so next year if you want a quiet race to get your head down and have a crack at a PB.... consider this one!

In short: That was my 6th and will be back again!
In full: An excellent atmosphere as usual, half mile marker definitely wrong and finished in 1hr46 (just off PB) but no goodie bags to be seen. Wish I'd realised just how hot it was and I would have put some sun protection on my face!
