In short: great course, great organisation, great area
In full: This is a really well designed course covering some of the best Cotswold scenery and villages in the area. A great atmosphere from start to finish, a real pleasure to run. It is an out and out trail race, but for those that enjoy off racing, there will be few races that can better this one for route design, views, and a bit of a challenge. Good technical T shirt, and post race refreshments (not just tea, but homemade soup and cake!). Well done to the organizers at Cotswold Running.

In short: Brilliant
In full: Third time for me and a PB that's stood for 3 years was broken- how that happened on a hilly course is beyond me, but shows that Coventry can inspire you. Great organisation, good marshals & water. Love starting and finishing in the centre of town. Hope the move to May in 2010 works, well I guess I'll find out, as I just have to run it again. The only things the organisers could have done better was reduce the strength of wind in some areas !, but I guess that's something they'll save for another year. Nice one Coventry

In short: Excellent new race
In full: Well done to the organisers, what a great little race, lovely atmosphere, good challenging course up one great big hill, but what goes up, has to come down just faster! Really enjoyed it, and would do it again without question.

In short: Tough off-road race, with brilliant scenery
In full: I knew this was a tough race, and it lived up to expectations. The weather was superb, views spectacular, route marking and marshals excellent (thanks to you all). There was great support from the small groups of walkers that were passed en-route. The atmosphere at the end was great. Went home at the end very tired, but very satisfied. Well done to the organisers-truely a race to remember.

In short: Good Start to he new year
In full: The thickness of the frost, made the whole run a fine christmas card. Very well organised & cheerfully marshalled (those guys N gals must have been cold!), the free hot drink before & after was excellent. The course is never flat, but that just makes it more challenging. Well done to Wye Valley - I can imagine no better start to a new year.

In short: Geat Run
In full: Can't fault this race at all. The slight route changes in 2008 have made it a better atmosphere at the start finish. Excellent route marking and marshaling. The hills are the same! but provide a suitable challenge and the cheerleaders at the uni, & the 'yellow whisting crowd' at the water station in the memorial park brought a smile to the very tired. Great race. Keep it up.
