In short: Small, well organised, pleasant run. Potential to be twice this size and still be great
In full: Excellent organisation and setting seemed almost wasted on such a small field. Lots of potential here. Well done all

In short: Excellent, and colour coded start really made first couple of K much easier!
In full: There was so much positive about this, and really pleased that Lincoln are listening to suggestions. Well done!

In short: Nicely organised, low key, friendly, nice course too!
In full: Really enjoyed this. Everything about it said the organisers cared, perhaps with the exception of the goody bag (water and t shirt only). Be nice to have more next time, even a packet of wine gums! Glorious, glorious weather!

In short: Great summer run through country lanes for all runner levels. Missed having crowd support until end. Finish area bit of a shambles.
In full: Didn't run well today, but the course would support a PB, especially on a calmer day. Course well organised, if lacking support, which would have been especially helpful when digging in on long country lanes. Lots of cheering at end, thanks. Finish area dreadful: very tight entry to finish line; an unbelievably stupidly placed tannoy van diagonally across it, limiting smooth passage of finishers, and a shambles collecting T-shirt and water. Could the race start 100m further back to enable finish on main road? Perhaps start and finish same place?

In short: Challenging, but well worth the effort. Safety and crowd support need attention.
In full: Route was challenging, with strong winds and a long uphill that never made up for going down in the first place. Great overall, though virtually no cheering public to help spur us on. This was left to the marshalls, especially one at about 8.5K. THANK YOU!
One important point however, while nice to run through Wimbledon Village it was very dangerous, and I came wafer close to being knocked into passing traffic by two unsuspecting pedestrians who came round a blind corner at the same time as me. This is an accident waiting to happen and the route needs to be amended here.

In short: Nice race; with a little polishing could be a great one
In full: Nice atmosphere for most of the race, with lovely, if rather short stretches alongside the Humber. PB unlikely with so many 90 degree turns and lots of fun runners who started near front blocking path in narrow bits. Only saw three km markers - the rest, if there, were invisible because all white and turned parallel to runners in wind. Nice sprint finish.

In short: Lovely day, lovely atmosphere with lots of pre, during and post race things happening, and great public support. Pre-race organisation was much better, as were better pens for runners with different times. End much better too.
In full: Lovely sunny day again! Pre-race pack was very good. Atmosphere before start on day was relaxed, with nice pre-race area. Not enough loos near start. Pre-race organisation was much better, as there were better pens for runners with different times. Public support during race was very special, though some sections a bit sparce. End much better than before, as runners quickly funneled away out of castle. Organisation in baggage area not good - lots of confusion over where to go after, and conflicting messages from marshalls. One real let-down was the goody bag. Absolute pants, and as a Lincoln resident, embarrassing!

In short: Nice race route, good itentions, but non-existent organisation at start, crowded first 3k, virtually impossible to pass last 2k made it virtually impossible for a good standard runner to get a decent time, unless near front at start or very lucky.
In full: Nice race route and good itentions. Non-existent organisation at start. Crowded first 3k, much over damp grass, then winding through narrow passageways with manouvering cars and buses. Was well behind PB by now. Great 3k-8k, then virtually impossible to pass slower runners in last 2k as on narrow path with dog walkers. Impossible for a good standard runner to get a decent time, unless near front at start or very lucky. Pity.

In short: A lovely night time event, great for runners and families. Can't wait til next year!
In full: Almost purpose built setting, fun for runners and nice warm place for supporters, with tea, hot food and even a bar! Course mostly flat and fast, despite darkness. A few hundred metres a bit tricky in dark, possibly needing extra lighting. Would have been nice to have some vocal support on long stretches. A pure pleasure to see all the headlamps across the lake. Oh, and race commentary was fantastic! Well done all!

In short: Beautiful day. PB difficult with dogs and strollers on course. Mostly well organised.
In full: In addition to comments, organisers please warn runners of those dustbin lids set in path near monuments. Well done though.
