In short: Definite PB potential despite soggy feet!
In full: What a lovely set of Marshalls! Where crowds were few and far between, the marshalls more than made up for it. Where you find them, I do not know but keep them!! I loved this race, it seemed to fly by and I would recommend to anyone to give it a go. My only issue was soggy feet at the start traipsing over to the loo's. I know the organisers can't do anything about dew on the grass but it would be better if the loo's were on tarmac. Again, that is easier said than done. Can't fault this at all. Well done on an excellent race!

In short: Better splits between those running, jogging and walking needed
In full: As a whole, for a city centre race, this was well organised. But as a 45 minute runner, I was put with the slow runners?! For a fun run, I would say i'm on the quicker side (for once)! I lost 10 minutes overall as they told us not to go from Milenium Square, but people had, I was then left at the back and god forbid you try and get to the front. I only felt that I got into a sort of stride at the 7k mark, all too late then to pull it back. Then no sprint finish as it was too clogged.
An well organised race, but please do 3 waves next year, my back hurts from my slalom efforts to get through.
Marshalls, were brilliant!

In short: If this is what they pull out of the bag for a first race then we are in for some treats!
In full: What an excellent morning i've had. A thrill seekers paradise. This race has fun, grit, laughs, tears and triumphs. I even got a proposal at the end, albeit a 5 year old and so did all the other ladies, but still!! This is a new group of races, coming into a world of establish players but they have got the key ingredients right. Just a few points, no need for bottled water, cups are fine and I think most people this day prefer a memento t-shirt rather than a medal. Plus it is always good publicity for the brand. I am very much looking forward to the next round of events. I am just hoping that the same sort of people will come next time as those walls are tough without a leg up! Superb

In short: Excellent organisation for a small race
In full: Only in NYC marathon have I not had to queue longer than 5 minutes for a toilet. You queue for toilets when at races, get over it or go in a bush! Hardly a point that the organisers can adjust on such a low entry fee. But, I noticed a few drivers nearly knock down runners behind me. I think road closures in a quite area wouldn't go a miss. If not possible, then there needs to be a strong think about insurance premiums vs. claims! Splendid day out indeed. Will be back next year!

In short: Next time i'll just run around the forest on my own
In full: As other people before me have mentioned the barrier i think it goes without saying, but getting clubbed over the head as i went under it by a size 12 shoe is not my idea of organisation or safety. No mile markers or statements to say you were at the end to go for that PB push. Scenery was fab but thats the pleasure of the area and is not enough to let the organisers off their poor efforts.
Having said that the worry of mild concussion aside the female helper at the point where the race hairpinned was fab. Timings are completely off in this race due to the terrible start but a good way to see in the new year if you need the motivation!
