In short: Historical race organised by East Hull Harriers, some very long ascents towards the end In full: This was a first event for me this year.I turned up not realy knowing were to park or register, however evreything was well sign posted making it very simple.Start and finish was in the charming east yorkshire village of lockington. Most of the route was run on minor roads through the East Yorks countryside with stunning views accross the wolds. The last 2 miles seemed to be mostly uphill which challenged my tired legs.tea, coffee, sandwiches and cakes baked by the local womens institute were on offer in the village hall at the end.Race finishers received a stylish T shirt and a £1 voucher to reedeem against the refreshments which was a great suprise.I would deffinately recomend to anyone for next year.Photos available on www.easthullharriers.com

In short: very hilly with a good finish to test your legs. In full: This was my first time running this race.I only live 30 minutes away and found myself running through charming yorkshire wold villages that i did not know existed. The first 5 miles were chalenging mostly uphill with the last 4.5 descending towards a final steep 500m ascent to the lovely skidby windmill at the finish line.Lots of marshals on all of the major road junctions.I personaly would of prefaired more water stations however that would not put me off running it again. Thanks to all the organisers and to the children handing out the water, great job!!
